Heavy on Cabernet Franc, the aromas of this wine offer ripe raspberry, dark cherry, cassis, dark chocolate and cigar box, all well-defined, clear and precise, announcing a hot and long developing vintage. The palate is rich and bold, showing depth and concentration. Flavours of dark cherry, raspberry jam, blueberry liquor, dark chocolate, vanilla and chewy tobacco leaves are well melted together to bring a now homogenous wine, hitting its peak. The finish is very impressive and long, offering white pepper, oak spices and lengthy soft tannins. These kinds of well-rounded wines are not usually available at this price point.
